Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Free Time.

Unique 8 Days Marrakech New year’s eve tour starts with, upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your riad or hotel. Enjoy free time to relax, explore the lively Medina, or walk through the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square with its music, food stalls, and colorful atmosphere. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech → Telouet → Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, you will drive through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). On the way, you will stop to visit the Telouet Kasbah, a beautiful but lesser-known fortress of the Glaoui family. Continue along the old caravan road, passing Berber villages and stunning landscapes, until you reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 3: Ouarzazate → Boutghrar → Dades Valley.

Today you will travel through the Valley of the Roses, known for its rose-water cooperatives and beautiful scenery. You will take an off-road track to reach Boutghrar village, where you can meet local nomad families who still live in caves in the mountains. Enjoy tea with them and discover their traditional lifestyle. Later, continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and deep canyons. Overnight in Dades.

Day 4: Dades Valley → Merzouga Desert.

After breakfast, you will follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing palm groves, traditional villages, and Tinghir Oasis. Optional stop at the Todra Gorge for a short walk between its 300-meter cliffs. Continue to the Merzouga Desert, where your camels will be waiting to take you across the golden dunes. Enjoy the sunset and spend the night in a Sahara desert camp, with Berber music under the stars. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga → Zagora (Off-Road).

Wake up for sunrise over the dunes, then begin a unique off-road adventure through the desert landscapes, passing dry rivers, hamadas, and remote Berber villages on the old Paris-Dakar Rally route. Continue until you reach Zagora, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Overnight in Zagora.

Day 6: Zagora → Erg Chigaga.

After breakfast, travel through the Draa Valley, the longest palm oasis in Morocco. Then take the off-road track toward the wild dunes of Erg Chigaga, one of the most remote and untouched desert areas in Morocco. Enjoy the silence of the Sahara, a camel ride, and a magical night in a camp under millions of stars. Overnight in Erg Chigaga.

Day 7: Erg Chigaga → Ouarzazate.

After a peaceful desert morning, drive through Lake Iriqui National Park, a dry lake bed with unique desert scenery. Continue toward Foum Zguid, then follow the paved road back to Ouarzazate. Enjoy a relaxing evening at your hotel. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 8: Ouarzazate → Marrakech.

After breakfast, drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and end of the tour.
